To us, the best policy for avoiding data loss to have nothing to lose to begin with. That means, unlike other “aggregators” we don’t hold on to your passwords or other sensitive information. Anything we do store is kept under lock and key using TLS 1.2 with Extended Validation SSL – look for the banner below to be sure you’re browsing through a secure connection.
You own your data and are entitled to know exactly where it is at all times. For years, credit bureaus have been making millions of pounds for selling your information to anyone willing to pay. We believe in a model that gives you control over the flow of information – you'll always be prompted for consent by Credit Kudos when sharing.
We’re registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a Data Controller (reg. ZA158354) and are compliant with the 1998 Data Protection Act (DPA). We are currently finalising our internal policy in preparation for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into effect May 2018.
