We are a new financial technology provider facilitating a fair, transparent relationship between individuals and companies so that financial products can be tailored to fit unique needs, better than the one-size-fits all credit check approach.
We are developing a new way to measure creditworthiness so that lenders can make informed decisions without relying on brittle and outdated systems.
Our product enables consumers to securely share relevant information with a lender in order to get a decision. Whilst current credit scores rely on opaque processes centred on historical repayments, we use up to date financials to measure risk.
Matt & Freddy met at university studying Computer Science. After graduation, Matt joined Universal Music Group to build better tools to interpret and understand user listening behaviour. As CTO, Matt leads engineering efforts of Credit Kudos, turning his Data Science and Machine Learning experience to the problem of measuring creditworthiness. Freddy, on the other hand, spent the first years of his working life in Silicon Valley. After his time at cloud infrastructure startup, Bitnami, Freddy joined the transaction analytics platform, TXN as their first engineer. At TXN, Freddy was responsible for building models to better understand consumer behaviour through credit/debit transaction data. As CEO, Freddy works closely with lenders to bring Credit Kudos to their customers.
Credit Kudos started in August 2015, initially out of Freddy’s frustration with the cumbersome processes required to apply for credit in the UK. We are backed by a great group of supporters & investors, including Bootstrap, Capital One Growth Labs, Entrepreneur First & NFT Ventures.
